The land is constantly covered by a fresh layer of white. The storms can be devastating for a traveler and there is no telling if the ground beneath their paws is snow or ice. Be careful where you step, for you won't see the danger until it is to later.

Tropical, barren, and mysterious Islands dot the Okami ocean, known for it's harsh waves and violent storms. Legends say Paradise is across this ocean....but the legend comes from both sides of the sea.

It is said that if a wolf stands at the edge of the cliff, on the night of a full moon, the moonlight will fall onto them and show them a glimpse of Paradise. This cliff is surrounded by the buds of flowers and has a pure shallow pool of water that reflects the beauty of the moon. Many wolves travel here for a lead to paradise.

The humans destroyed nearly everything of nature, turning most of the land desolate.... only one forest remains. It can be a haven for traveling wolves, but there's little prey and water, so it's never home for long.

This rocky gray landscape grows colder with each step. A few trees help hold this dangerous mountain together, but even the mightiest trees are no match for the winds of this peak. Travelers beware, this unstable mountain can collapse from under you or even bury you from above.

The canyon is dry and barren where the sun beats down. Caves and crevices line the walls and rumors say Indian tribes still live in these parts. They worship wolves and may offer to aid them.... if they believe they are true wolves that is....
