The rain misted in front of the two. Brothers eternal, they smiled at each other without even looking at each other. The moon shimmered serenely in the night sky, illuminating the streets. For the first time, they did not have to say a word.

(this should be fun.)
Raj was doing his daily routine of herding sheep on the farm--The Shadow Creek Farm. He was raised by farmers and was a very tamed wolf. His pack died a long time ago, when he was just a cub, and now he was becoming an adult male wolf all by himself. The kind, gentle people who took him in found him in a nearby stream along the riverbank to the left about two miles away from their house. Ever since then, Raj has been working happily for them and he lives terrifically. He finished his the herding after a long day's work.
While Raj finished up his job, Trey was enjoying his sunset meal in the corner of a dark, narrow alley. He was feeding on the usual: rats that were hidden in a hole at the bottom of a gray concrete wall. There were always coming from the hole leaving Trey to never go hungry. Trey's lifestyle seemed to be a little bit rough, but he found the challenges to be fun and exciting. He was a stray wolf all his life for his mom died at labor and his dad walked out on her a few months before her tragic death. Now that Trey was a near adult, he knew every nook and cranky in the city, Gantz, which was only five short miles from The Shadow Creek Farm, that he ventured in for so long. Now that he finished his meal, he headed to his home, a small abandoned junkyard.
When Raj arrived home, he lay down by the rocking chair where the male owner was sitting, on the painted white porch. The man put his head down to pet the wolf, and Raj made a smile out of pure comfort. The man's wife stepped out of the house and she said, "Peter, give that good boy some water." He replied, "Yes, my dear Elena." As usual, they spent the rest of the night out there, and just Raj was finally in a deep slumber, he heard a loud crackle. He alerted himself up and saw a man a few feet from the house pointing a gun at him. Raj growled waking up the two human owners and knew that they were in trouble; wolves were a common wanted game in this area. They all knew that he was about to be shot, but their luck turned around when the man got distracted by a few chickens nearby him. Here was his chance. "Run, Raj. Go far away." Just as the man realized what was going on, the wolf ran as fast as he could. Away from the farm, away from the stream, away from his owners. His destination was a city: Gantz.
Trey was in his little twig and leave bed looking up at the night sky. How scary the darkness seemed on this night. As he started to drift off to sleep, he heard a painful panting. He got up on his bony four legs and looked around him. What he saw was a brown wolf out of breath. Trey walked over to the wolf. "Are you okay, man?" Raj looked up and saw a grayish looking wolf. "Yeah. And the name is Raj," he said in a slightly distasteful way. "You looked all mess up, man. Name's Trey, by the way," Trey said in such a proud of self manner. Raj rolled his eyes at the wolf's ignorance. Even though Trey was a pain in the tail already, Raj was still grateful that there was someone to be with him and make him not so lonely.
In the following weeks, Raj and Trey spent all of their time together to know more about each other. Raj learned from Trey the ways of the city. They had fun chasing birds and small little animals that they could eat. They both had a blast in the lakes that were nearby.
One rainy night, they were laying down in their beds in the junkyard discussing their future. "I want to be able to share my life with the perfect mate," Raj confessed to his friend. He had just gotten dumped by a beautiful lupa who seemed to have a careless soul. "I want to have a friend by my side no matter what comes in our way." This was Trey's wish. This was definitely something that they both wanted. A forever living friendship. The rain misted in front of the Brothers eternal, they smiled at each other without even looking at each other. The moon shimmered serenely in the night ski, illuminating the streets. For the first time, they did not have to say a word.
