Secrets of the Forest [Dark & Anvil]

Lyall smiled at Dark. She looked deep into his eyes, seeing all of the love within him. "I think you won your prize," she said, with so much love. She licked his ear and nuzzled him. "I would love to win my own mate, too, Dark," she said, just as sincere. She smiled more brightly than before, her eyes gleaming with passion.

Dark rubbed his nose against hers then got off of her smiling. "Then win your mate." He said his voice light and happy. "See if you can catch him." With that he turned and ran off like she did. He wanted to see what she would do.

At first, Lyall's mouth opened wide. Then, when she saw him run, she smiled and ran after him. As she ran, she said, "Oh, I will!" She ran as fast as she could. Even though he was much younger than she, Dark ran much faster than Lyall, making it a little hard to catch up to him. After chasing him for a little while, she finally caught up to him. She accidentally and unintentionally fell on top of him when she did. "Whoops." She smiled at him and laughed softly.

Dark smiled and felt his heart beat faster than ever. He laughed to himself as he looked at her. "I thought I was supposed to be on top?" He told her smiling. He was hoping to see her get flustered at this or make a joke of it.

Lyall's face burned bright red. Then, she laughed softly, keeping her head away. "Yes, you are supposed to be on top. But that doesn't mean that I'm gonna let you," she joked. Then, she got off Dark and walked slyly away, giving him a passionate look.

Dark smiled as she got up but couldn't help but star as she walked. The swaying was very, very distracting. He found himself following her before he could even put a thought together. He smiled at her and asked her. "Where are we going?"

Lyall smiled. "Wherever you want to go, love. We could go anywhere in this world. We could go to Paradise. We could go to the ocean. Anywhere. It could just be you and me. We'll be all alone. They'll be nobody to bother us." She smiled passionately at him.

Dark smiled and ran so he could walk beside her. "How about we head back to our Den and... See what we can do to make it warmer." He said as seductively as he could. He smiled passionetly

Lyall smiled passionately back at Dark. "Okay, that sounds like a great idea. I'll let you lead the way," she said just as seductively. As the two walked beside each other, Lyall brushed her side against his every once in a while, getting closer each time.

Dark looked away from her then pounced on her. "I want you now." He said his voice filled woth lust. He licked her ear lovingly and bit it.

Lyall licked Dark's ear. "I love you, Dark, but I have things to do. I can't act young all the time. Do you know how much younger you are than me?" Lyall asked, even though that did not stop her from loving and wanting him. "We can go to our den. Then, tomorrow, we can have a fresh start and leave here. What do you think?" She was almost scared of his answer. Lyall did not want her love to be put down.

Dark looked at her and felt slightly disappointed. He thought of leaving here so many time. He would sometimes try and just stand by the border then found himself running back to his den. He shook his head and looked at her. "I-I shall try... For you." He gave her a little smile. "But i want to... See how well my mate can howl ." He licked her ear hoping to get the meaning across.

Lyall smiled, then her face became completely red when she figured out what he meant. "Dark, I can't do that. I'm really sorry. I just want to leave here first. I don't know why but I don't want to be here. I'm okay with staying for the night. I'm sorry..."

Dark looked at her and whined slightly. He wanted to play with her. "Fine..." He said and got off her not even looking at her. He felt slightly rejected and was very depressed. He walked to his den not saying a word to her.

Lyall's heart stopped for a moment when she saw Dark's sad face and watched him walk away. She could not help the way she was. She had longed to go to Paradise and find a pack forever. She finally found the most wonderful mate she could ever ask for or have. She slowly followed him to the den. She felt like a kid. She did not know what she should do anymore. The love she had within her was so great and powerful.
