A World for Hope [OPEN]

[Kyuu]

Kion giggled, occasionally rubbing her forehead agnostic his neck or shoulder when he would rub against her. "To the beach~!"

[Anvil]

"To the beach!" Serin said, repeating Kion. "I've never actually been to the beach. I've only heard stories of it. Of how beautiful it looks. But even then, I can picture it so perfectly. Maybe I went there when I was younger, and I just don't remember going. I don't know, but I do know that's absolutely beautiful. And I only want to go if you're there with me."

[Mist]

A small grey and white figure trotted slowly through the snow. While the cold mix of the wind and snow was still hitting her face and blurring her vision, it didn't stop her from moving forward. In fact, she didn't mind it that much. The small wolf loved being in the cold. Even though she was feeling a little tired, the cold itself seemed to keep her moving. As the wolf looked around, there didn't seem to be any changes from when she got herself into the icy blizzard. It was just white snow as far as the eye could see. While she wasn't complaining about that, she wanted to find somewhere to rest before she got really tired. She didn't like to idea of resting in this storm while it was still raging on.

As the wolf continued plowing through the snow, she noticed something not too far away. She narrowed her eyes more then they already were, trying to focus. Ahead of her, she could see two figures, one light and the other dark. From what she could tell, they didn't notice her from where she was. She could almost hear them saying something too, but the gusts of wind made it difficult to make out. The small wolf decide to get closer, and as she did, the shapes became more definite. When she finally realized the figures where wolves, her tail began wagging happily and she ran towards the pair. When she almost face to face with the wolves, she tried to stop, but winded up skidding through some of the snow and almost bumped into the black-blue wolf. The grey and white wolf took a few steps back, a small half embarrassed smile on her face. She barked a small but friendly, "Hi!" at the two. The little wolf wasn't feeling lonely, but to her, any company beat none at all.

[Anvil]

Serin smiled at the new little wolf and his mouth opened slightly. "H-hello. My name is, um, um, Serin. I've been here for quite a while." Then, Serin just stood and stared at her. He observed every physical feature about her that he could. Her fur was grey and white, which were absolutely beautiful colors to him. He saw that she was very small, which made him smile even more. He saw her beautiful blue eyes, which seemed to sparkle, but he was not sure if it was just him or if they really did sparkle. Then, he noticed her dark, midnight blue crescent necklace. "What's your name?" he said, almost dreamily.

Kion pressed closer to Serin when the little wolf almost ran into her. She blinked at the smaller wolf for a moment before laughing quietly. "Hey! I'm Kion~! That was a pretty good stop there." She spoke truthfully, knowing she herself would have either faceplanted in the snow or kept on sliding.

[Mist]

The young wolf kept her smile and began wagging her tail in a friendly manner at Serin once he'd finished introducing himself. She thought he was stammering because he was nervous around strangers and she was ready to show him that there wasn't any reason to be that way. Kion on the other hand, seemed pretty energetic in greeting the grey and white wolf. When she heard Kion comment on her stop, the young wolf laughed a little, even though she was still embarrassed about nearly bumping into the older female. "Thanks!" Once she heard Serin's question, the little wolf turned her gaze to both wolves, but more at Serin since the question was his. "My name's Brooke. I don't think I've been here for very long." She couldn't tell how long it had been since she'd entered the snowy storm. There didn't seem to be a change in the sky since she got here; that or time just seemed to fly by.

[Anvil]

Serin's jaw dropped when he heard the wolf's name. When he realized his movement, he quickly closed his mouth. "Ahem, um, that's a really name." His face turned blood red under his fur. "It's good that you haven't been here for that long. I wouldn't want you to have to be in this storm for so long." He gave the new wolf a small smile. Then, a little frown spread across his face. "Where's your family or friends? Why are you all alone here?"

[Kyuu]

Kion's tail had begun wagging at some unknown time but slowly ceased toa halt. She eyed Brooke wearily before looking the same at Srin. She opted to stay quiet.

[Mist]

Brooke gave Serin a curious look when she noticed his dropped jaw. It seemed like his 'shyness' was getting the better of him... Or did she have have the same name as someone he knew? Someone he cared about? That was a possibility she couldn't rule out. As the two wolves seemed to stare at each other, Brooke noticed that he was pretty young; about her age. This made her smile grow. All the wolves that she had met here were a lot older than her, and while she didn't mind that, there was a small sense of relief that there was someone in this new place that was as old as her. Brooke was about to open her mouth saying she could have handled the storm, but she decided to stay silent. She guessed he had a good reason for saying that. The storm might have been worse before she entered it and who knew how know she would have lasted if that was the case?

Once the young wolf heard Serin's question, her smile quickly ceased and her tail slowly stopped wagging. For a moment, she seemed out of it, making her completely oblivious to the wary look that Kion and giving her and Serin. The grey and white wolf quickly brought herself back to reality though and answered the light brown wolf, hoping that neither of the two wolves noticed her spacing out. "Well... I've been separated from my family since I was a pup. And my friends..." She paused for a moment, as if hesitant to finish her answer. "We winded up getting separated."

[Kyuu]

Kion sat down on the snow, as she was not going to leave Serin, but it seemed they wouldn't be moving anytime soon...

[Anvil]

Serin was concerned at what Brooke said. "Oh, I'm sorry about what happened. I don't like being here alone. But I have Kion." He licked Brooke's neck. "But you can stick with us if you like. We would be more than happy to have you here. That's okay with you, Kion, right?" He licked her again.

[Kyuu]

Kion's ears flicked back at Serin's words. She knew it was more of less just jealousy knawing at her but she wasn't about to abadon a fellow wolf out here... "Yeah... I guess that's okay..."

[Anvil]

Serin licked Kion again. "I knew you would be understanding." He gave her a special smile and licked her once again. "Well, Brooke, I hope you enjoy yourself with us. We have a long journey ahead of us, don't we Kion?" He winked at her.

[Mist]

Brooke was a little uncertain of Serin's words, but once Kion approved of her sticking around, a smile started to grow on the little wolf's face once again and a small nod was her response.
A long journey? The blue-eyed pup gave a curious look at the two older wolves. "So, where are we going?" Brooke didn't mind that wherever the new trio would take a long time to find - she was always up for new things. Curiosity was just something that seemed to stick to her a lot, and she felt like she couldn't help but ask the question. It was pretty obvious to her that Serin and Kion knew where they were headed. And if this place that they were going to was really far, it had to be somewhere really special or fun, right?

[Kyuu]

Kion's tail wagged, her nuzzling against Serin's cheek. "The beach! Serin and I want to see it so bad." The black she-wolf smiled at Brooke happily, no longer jealous of the prettier wolf.
