The wolf walked through the blizzard, shards of ice cutting deeply into the skin beneath his multicolored fur. The snow blinded his vision, making his yellow eyes water greatly. He could see nothing but the frozen tundra that surrounded him. He had not seen any other creature since he stepped foot on the land. As much as he expected that outcome, he still felt unsettled because of that. As the male creature walked with his head down, trying his best to avoid the piercing snow, he saw blood erupt from his white paws. He gasped only slightly and, then, breathed out to release the slight shock he encountered. He felt the ice below his wounded paws, and begged that it would not crack or break as he made his journey across the haunted land. When the wolf shivered, he began to wonder how cold the air really was: the ice and snow stung his body fiercely and he no longer felt the cold, but only the sting. The Himalayan wolf had not stopped to rest for hours. He had not eaten for days. His body felt completely sore and he wondered how much farther he could go. For some reason, which was a mystery for the young wolf, he was scared to fall asleep. He did not mind resting, but he had a fear to sleep in such weather conditions, especially in the tundra. Suddenly, the stomach of the hungry wolf growled loudly. The sound of that made him laugh, but he did not know what was so funny about his stomach growling. "Can't you see that I'm hungry?" he said, looking at the world around him. He laughed at the way his voice sounded: it cracked from not being used in hours. He thought about some the animals that he would be able to see once he left the horrible place. Some of them would befriend the wolf and the others would be eaten by him. He longed to see other animals, or even people for that matter, that would play with him or pet him. He laughed again, but that time it was from pure happiness that came from his heart. When he left his pack to start his own adventure, he did not expect to end up in a place so cold, so bitter. He thought he would see happy places, animals, and people. Even when he knew that he was in a heartbreaking place, he smiled because he knew that once he left the place, he would be happy and playful again.

Cold and hungry... Alone and scared... Many things could descride the wolf at this moment. She struggled through chest deep snow. The cold thing around her neck, biting, was staring to freeze to her fur. Her ears twitched at a faroff sound, causing her to raise her gead. Blue was blinded by snow, black turned white in the blizzard. She let out a shout and lowered her head aganist the freeze. She kept on pushing through, getting no where fast.

As he walked through the fighting winds, his paws became even more sore. When he lifted his head up he saw a stationery figure. Then, he noticed that it was not stationery at all. It was moving closer to him. That's when he ran as fast he could without even thinking about the action he was performing. Still, it was really hard for him to run fast enough with the blizzard holding him back. Within a few minutes, he was standing in front of another wolf. Before he realized it, he smiled at the animal and said, "Hi."

The she-wolf looked up quickly at him, surprised. She stared at him for a moment before replying. "Uh...Hi..." She then smilied brightly. "Finally! Another wolf. I thought I was all alone out here."

The wolf released a sigh of relief. "Actually, I've been thinking the same thing. I've been alone and cold here for a long time. I thought I wouldn't be happy again until I left this retched place. But now, you're here. Enemy or friend. I don't really care!" He laughed. "So, how long have you been out here in the blizzard?" His eyes started watering again because of the snow and ice. He did not even look away in embarrassment considering the she-wolf would probably be doing the same thing soon as well.

She struggled a bit aganist the snow. "Long enough to sink down too far to get out alone!" She laughed at herself, then shook her head to get the snow off her face. "I'm Kion, by the way..."

He stepped forward. "I'm Serin. I've been out here pretty long, too. I bet you can't wait to get on ground where nothing is falling you. I can help you if you need me to." Then, he stopped talking and looked at her. She had black-blue fur. Her eyes were the most beautiful shade of bright blue, but a scar ran across both beautiful eyes, which made Serin frown. But when he looked back into her blue eyes again, he smiled.

Kion nodded, smiling sheepishly. "Yeah, that would help. I'm kinda stuck down here." She laughed again and took a moment to observe him. He was mostly light brown with grey and tan mixed in. His lower legs, feet, and chest were colored differently, white and black. She took in his eyes. Yellow with green mixed in. Definitely one of the cutest wolves she had ever meant. "And yeah. Getting out of her is a lovely idea."

Serin laughed. He walked to her side and pushed her softly so that she would be able to move to the side to get out. When she was finally a few feet away from her previous position, he stepped back. "Is that better?"

Kion shook off the rest of the snow, going from white to blue-black in a few seconds. "Now, I'm good." She grinned at him. "So... What now?" She looked around but flinched when the cold leather and steel around her neck bit in.

Serin bit the edges of the steel, which clashed hard against his teeth, and pulled it a little bit to make the position of it better for Kion. "Now, we leave here. We can go anywhere you like. We can go to the grasslands. To the mountains. To the ocean. We can anywhere. It's going to be hard to leave here, but we can do it. It may take a few days or a week or two. But I'm willing to do anything to leave here. I'm ready to be free again."

Kion's tail wagged as the collar finally let loose of her fur and just went back to being an annoyance aganist her neck as usual. "Thanks." She bumped her forehead aganist his check gently. "Aw. Freedom...." Se paused to think. "I've never seen the ocean before."

Serin laughed. "Anytime, Kion." He smiled at the way it felt on his tongue. "Freedom would be nice. I've never seen the ocean either, but I heard that it's absolutely gorgeous at sunset. Wouldn't that be amazing? That's a deal, Kion. Once we leave this place, we can go to the ocean. It will be perfect. We don't have to last too long here. As long as we keep going without stopping too much, we will be out of here in no time."

Kion laughed along with him. "I'll take your word on it." She blushed under her fur. 'Wow, he's so sweet!', she thought.

"Come on, Kion. We need to getting going so that we can leave here soon." Then, he walked slowly beside her, fighting the blizzard along with Kion. Serin felt more tired than ever, but he finally had more motivation to keep going. He tried to stay tough for the new female wolf that he had just met. He did not intend on making bad impressions on her once they just met.
